Reiki I & II Class on Saturday & Sunday, May 15th & 16th, 2010        from 10am - 5pm

Reiki level I and Level II are taught together as a weekend intensive workshop.  This class is a combination of lecture, discussions and experience.  Both attunements will be given and the following information and techniques will be covered:                                                                        

• Giving a complete Reiki treatment for self and others.
• Reiki hand positions used during treatments
• Japanese Reiki Techniques as taught by Dr. Usui including:                                                   
Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho: developing your intuition, Byosen scanning: detecting where Reiki is needed, Gyoshi ho: sending Reiki with the eyes, Koki ho: using the breath to send Reiki, Kenyoku: dry bathing or clearing ones energy field,  Jacki-kiri Joka-ho:  clearing objects of negative energy.

Distant healing.    

There will be ample practice time for giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment including all hand positions, self treatment and practice of all the level II symbols including practicing distant healing.  It will also be important to continue to practice these methods after you have completed the class to give the confidence and experience needed to utilize the Reiki training fully.

An alter will be set up during the weekend to imbue any sacred objects with Reiki energy.  Please bring any crystals, stones, or other sacred objects which will benefit from this energy and you wish you use in your Reiki practice.

Cost: $350 with a $100 non-refundable deposit.  (The deposit can be used as a credit toward another class in the future if you find you cannot attend this one)

The class will be taught by Dolores Baker who is a certified Karuna Reiki Master™ and Usui Ryoho Reiki Master with additional training in the use of Reiki with animals and crystals.  She is also a Certified Hypnotherapist and has both a Master’s degree and a Ph. D. in Counseling Psychology.  Dolores today uses her energy healing
techniques as well as creating bright acrylic art which embodies her philosophy and expresses the Mago energy.
